Adobe AIR will also accompany the Flash update which should be coming out soon it was shown and announced at that mobile electronic conference occurring. Also Microsoft is working on getting a Full version of Silverlight onto Android as well this year.

Just noticed that the Motorola website changed the flash release date from early 2010 to "refer to adobe.com for release information"

Im not getting my hopes up anymore...if need need flash on a phone for now, I will have to go to my wife's Eris still running 1.5...sorry but this just seems backwords (and yes I know the Eris is running flash lite). :icon_evil:

I think the desire rom from greek at alldroid will come with flash support before the official flash will come out. Come on desire rom.... hurry up.

So I'm guessing that someone's already tried downloading the Flash 10.1 beta from their website (Adobe Labs - Downloads: Flash Player 10.1) and found out it won't work on the Droid?

I'm sure someone has already tried that... Somewhere... Right?

On the website it says beta for desktop OS.

Sure, but it includes a Linux version... Android is just another version of Linux... So I thought maybe it could be adapted somehow...

But I'm no Droid developer -- so maybe there's something that the Droid needs that the Desktop-Linux version doesn't have?

I am hearing rumors that Adobe has created Flash for the Droid phone...

But haven't seen it.

Is this true???

If so how does one go about getting it???
