VZW Galaxy Nexus Release Dec. 8th Unofficially Confirmed; Pre-Orders Start Tomorrow

ComputerWorld seems to have an insider at Verizon that gives us some additional confirmation of the December 8th release date of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Furthermore, they supposedly also have a firm date of tomorrow, November 29th, as the date that you can pre-order the device through Verizon. Of course, we have no official word from Verizon or Samsung, but you didn't really expect that to happen did you? I don't see any flying pigs outside...

i told myself i wouldn't make a decision until i could play with it in the store. after playing with the rezound and razr over the weekend, not too mention we have the VZW extended return policy, i'll be ordering this. if it doesn't work out, the rezound was a clear winner to me over the razr (sense beats blur any day).

You order it online or by calling customer service. You pay the amount for it upfront and it is sent to u at ur door step the day of release. Some people like on the Razr got theirs a day early.

I know at Costco, you pay taxes only on the actual price you pay. When you order online via Verizon's site, do you pay taxes on the full price of the phone, or just the $299 (assuming it'll be $299)?

Hhmm idk on that. Its been a while since ive ordered online, I just remember how it works. And ive never ordered at Costco but people talk like that's the better alternative cause of package deals and the 90 day return.

plus they have circumvented the locked bootloader. Yes I said it, custom kernels for the HTC. Its over in the HTC section if you wanna look at it.
