Longtime troll, first time caller.

Anyone having issues with this one? It keeps telling me "Unable to connect to the server! This phone may be lost or stolen. Please connect to the internet and relaunch WaveSecure Beta to verify!"

Any ideas?

Aye, I've had no problems with the app yet. It's actually pretty neat to note that the commands for the app are received via SMS, so you can see a bit of the app's internal workings for a split second before they're deleted by the app (that is, in the notifications window when the SMS first arrives).

But good point on the SIM bit. I completely spaced on the fact that it's a SIM-based theft notification to your friends.

Curse you, Verizon, for having a CDMA network!

Still a fun li'l app regardless, though.

There's a note in the app "Help" section, towards the bottom:

"NOTE: We may charge for WaveSecure in teh future but if you have downloaded WaveSecure before we start charging, WaveSecure will remain free forever for you."

There is an update for wavesecure. I downloaded it and now can't sign into their website nor will it accept my pin on the droid itself. Not sure what is going on but think I should just uninstall it before it gives me any more grief.

I also got a couple of strange text messages from them 2 apparently international texts identifying 6592324290 as a landline #. No idea where that number came from and a similar text saying my cell number was a landline and did I want to spend 25 cents a pop. ??
Again not sure what is going on but it is still a beta.

It didnt work 2 days ago - uninstalled. Today downloaded and it works perfectly.

yep. i tried it out and it worked perfectly... and the alarm is extremely loud and annoying lol.

Just noticed, if you lock the screen and press the home button you can go home. The lock screen pops back up, but you can see your home screen for a second or two. I have folders on my home screen with direct dial shortcuts, I was able to see my home screen and dial a number in that folder all while the phone was locked.

Hope that gets fixed.
