We need a Dock application

Docklauncher is quite bad from the comments on the marketplace.

docklauncher in the market lets you change what's launched in the dock to whatever you want. There are other clocks out there you can launch instead with it.

my env 2 when i charged it and left it fiped open it went to a BIG digital clock so at night i didnt need an alarm clock i had my phone to look at and see the time. anything like that for the droid? i mean if an ENV can do it... does the droid?

You can install the 2.1 Clock and have it work in the dock.

"The 2.1 Clock can replace the ugly multimedia clock. The first time you insert in dock it will give you a choice, check the default box and then select "clock" and it will default to the 2.1 clock everytime you put it in the dock.

FAR superior version and the dimmer dims it a LOT, perfect for nightime since it is not so bright. PLUS if you long hold the "dimmer button" it will switch to a "green" night lite type display."
