Even though those apps are running they are just accessing certain parts of your phone not draining your battery. Its not a needed to save battery.

I don't think it drains a lot of battery. But if you look at settings/about phone/battery use you will notice that none of those apps you see running are actually using any battery....but Task Killer is.

Flash is coming to Droid sometime in this quarter but nobody knows when.

I do not even have my DROID yet (ups be here with it tomorrow) All questions I have asked some one has helped me out with (by more then 1 person)

I see some Neg stuff every now and then here but thats common at any Online Forum

I currently use an i550 nextel on the boost mobile network, I was wondering if the droid can be flashed to a differant carrier such as nextel or boost, even sprint would be good, those are about the only carriers in my area with decent service. I really would like to get the droid but the verizon is so damn expensive. I would appreciate any possible help in this, or if I have to, is there a way to perhaps make the verizon experience a little less painful in the wallet. thanks all

As far as I know you need to switch there is no sim card for the droid. I made the switch from t-mobile six months ago and am more than pleased with the phone and service. Perfection comes with a price!!!
