Welcome to the LG Spectrum 2 Forums!

I think most the other guys kind of gave up on it due to the security and the over all lack of interest... I know there are a handful out there that have this device and what it supported but nothing like the other devices out there. I will keep at it and see where we can get it.

I appreciate the effort. I just got two days worth of battery :icon_ banana: I can't even imagine what it could get. Anything you need from me let me know..

This forum is officially dead. Too bad considering the spectrum 2 is still my favorite Android phone on Verizon...incredibly underrated phone...Tried the GS3 and honestly do not see what all the hype is about...

Please take that XDA attitude and leave. Sorry to be harsh but we really don't need that here.

You take your attitude and leave! I honestly never root and never go to xda. At least I had something positive to say about the spectrum 2...Just trying to encourage some more posts for this great phone... You were way out of bounds with your negative post.

You said that the forum is dead... how is that helping out this phone??? Do you understand that I spent quite some time with Miller trying to get this phone open? And then you blast the S3.... you need to stop. And what does 'never root' have to do with anything? You know that you are on a site that discusses how to crack these phones.

All I was trying to do was encourage more discussion and posts on this phone. You are the one being negative here, not me. Take a chill pill!

Wow... being negative... I spent a lot of time helping out with this phone. That is not encouraging anyone by saying a forum is dead. Quit trolling. And what else do you want to happen. If you read any of the posts here, VZW has this phone on a lockdown. We have been trying to get this phone opened up to allow custom ROMS to run on this phone. But if you never rooted your phone, then why are YOU here? I've reported your three post as trolling and am done with you.

Just to update everyone else. Miller has been taking rest from what I understand. Which he needs it after everything we threw at this phone. I actually try to reach out to him today since I haven't been around myself and need to talk to him. To Micrors and Layvin... hope everything been going good with you guys... I'll be on GTalk today if you're bored.

I am not trolling. Plus there are lots of discussion topics for phones besides rooting and roms. I am a huge fan of the Spectrum 2 and would like to see more discussion. Sorry if it sounded negative but that was not my intention at all.

Anyone try any good cases? I bought one off of ebay that is pretty slick, it is a hard plastic case with a silicone outer skin to protect it from drops, plus it has a kickstand in the back, but it is a little big for my tastes and the fit is a but tight because I assume is was meant for the korean LTE2 which doesn't have the inductive charger coil in the back. Any suggestions for slimmer cases?

if anyone is wondering, beats audio will brick your phone, im currently trying to recover from a brick but am having problems with the unbricking methods, is the .cab supposed to be larger than 422 bytes?

i figured as much :/ tried it on both firefox and chrome.. guess they are deadlinks now :/ i went into the lg tool and used the recovery, it is currently downloading a 1.1gb file... if thats it i sould be able to find it after its done.
also, is there no stock recovery?
