that sucks. this phone is awesome with some odd annoyances, why would they omit the stock recovery... i found the combo to do a factory reset but thats all...

edit: seems to be working, at 35% of update...

edit again: it worked, im re-setting my phone up! nice!
so that means, with a soft brick, you can recover your phone with just the lg support tool

Yea at least it isnt bad to recover once you have done it once.. I have soft briked it like 3 times so far. Finally got it set up the way I like it. I got most of the bloat gone, replaced the laucher with Apex. Its like my Rezound was but with a bigger screen, better battery, and better performance. :biggrin: I love that I can stream music, talk, text and play games and the phone doesnt die. I forgot how it was to be able to use a phone allday. Best phone I ever had!! I loved my Pre though. :byepalm:

Once you get it restored, use the CWM flavor found to create a backup so next time you don't have to reset up the phone, or use some other backup app.

yea i think im going to do just that micro, i come from the x2, so im used to a locked down phone lol... lucky i can have my fun on my nexus 7

I came from the droid 2 which was absolute **** compared to this phone, it's always fun to have a tablet to mess around with, I've got an HP Touchpad which is amazing and the price is hard to beat but I'm thinking about getting a nexus 7 or maybe 10, I haven't looked into either community much but I know there is tons of stuff for the 7 but not sure about the 10.

i got the 7 when it first came out last year, it hasnt let me down in the slightest, its fast as hell, unlocked with a official cm10.1. and its getting regular updates from google. i think they just released 4.2.2 yesterday... its an amazing tablet

I have to sell some of my other tablets before I can justify buying another but I will definitely look into it, or perhaps, dare I say, an ipad. Don't crusify me for saying that but i have been thinking about one for a while just to see if the grass is really greener on the other side.

I use to have an itouch that I jailbroke and it was a lot of fun and got me started in this whole community of hacking so I'm kinda interested in what is going on now.
