I live out in the hills and sticks also. We have 1.5mb dsl at the house. That is about all we can get. They just upgraded our cell tower with a generator and all. Now I have 4G at the house. Don't loose hope.
Well that would be cool but we don't even have a working version of the stock ROM that is flashable, let alone CM so this would be a very long way off.

Excuse me if I missed something, are there any customs roms available for the spectrum 2? If so can you please direct me to them. Also, I rooted my spectrum 2, what can i do to customize it. Thank You
Just as a heads up just in case no one knew of this or maybe I am just learning it myself. I had to reset my unit with the CAB file this evening, which I have now done many times, but something new happened. After I reset the unit and I was preparing to root again, I had the Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant pop up and inform me there was an upgrade, so I upgraded. Before you all get excited no it did not go to JB. But it did take it from Version VS93010E TO VS93011E. It is still Android 4.04 but besides this version change which took about 12 minutes I do not really see any change as of now. Did this upgrade happen in the last month or so that I was unaware of?

There aren't any ROMs currently available, with your phone rooted you can do all the things you normally would with a rooted phone like use it to tether without having to buy verizon's tether plan.

This was discussed in the update thread already, no idea what it changes, maybe miller can take a look at it and see what it is when he has some time, there is a theory that it might be setting us up for JB, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.
Thanks, I never looked at the Update thread. No I did not get my hopes up but was just wondering if anyone noticed anything different but from the thread it does not seem anyone has.

From what I see that update was just a few minor under the hood tweaks. Kind of concerned they might have tightened the secure boot up a little more also. Pretty common LG bug seems to have been fixed.

A quick stupid question. Since my unit updated to the new version I can not seem to get the PC to see the phone. Can someone please remind me what the "Connectivity" setting is suppose to be again. There is no change on the PC end, the same drivers are stilled installed, thanks.
** EDIT ** Never mind, I forgot to undo USB Debugging.
