It's one of those things that some use but some don't. I was using it with lean kernel. My phone seems a bit snappier with it but not sure it actually helps. I would like to have it as an option but that's just me. It's not a deal breaker if you don't add it. =)

Its a matter of typing 'y' or 'n' when I build the kernel. Its built into the config so I can take it or leave it when I build. I'll throw it in there next time I build.

Edit: I tried to enable zram in terminal and it says zram not found.

Hey. I forgot that you can enable zram natively also in settings>performance>memory management. Ratio can be changed there also

I want to try this out. Can you tell me which folder and what file I should be grabbing for the latest build? I read thread back and think i know but want to make sure before i flash and cause a headache. PE was my favorite ROM with the OG Droid and I can't believe I haven't tried it for the GNexus yet. Thanks!

Try and delete the "android" folder on your sdcard then reboot and wipe cache and see if that works
