Welcome to the Project Elite GNex section!

@nosman614 I'm 99% sure i fixed the high performance audio pausing issue. It was kernel based. Flash this kernel and let me know. I watched a movie for ten minute with power amp set to come on when head phone jack was plugged in(this is how i replicated your issue while having movie playing. The movie would pause and music would start every 30 secs or so) and had no interruptions. Let me know. http://projectelite.net/actngrezy/jb-mr1/kernels/Buck/ProjectElite_Gnex-02_22_2013.zip

Seems to be working now. Right after I flashed the kernel I kept having the problem (in the car), but I tried it again and using headphones and it seems to be fine. If for some reason it happens again, I'll let you know. THANKS BUCK!!

Nexus7

I have been a fan since OG Droid. I still use the final release as my bedside clock. Great job on GNex I love it. Stable and smooth. Whats the chance this gets ported to Nexus7.

Just noticed a new build up 2-25. Not sure if it's completely uploaded yet or not. Just a heads up.

Buck, beat ya to it again..... =P

It's up and good to go. Kernel has all the recent updates. Pie updates and quick setting updates in this build

First, I would like to say thanks for all the hard work you've put into this rom. I know it's greatly appreciated by all of us using it.

I am having a bit of problem with battery drain. When I was running stock OTA from Verizon I could go nearly 3 hours and use maybe 10%-12% of my battery. That would be texting, phone calls, twitter, instagram and so on. Now, however, I can use 10% of my batter in 30 minutes just texting. Any idea what could be causing this? I've noticed that the screen always seems to be at it's brightest; even when display is set to auto or if I uncheck auto and put it to the lowest brightness. Could this be causing the quick drain? I've included a screen shot to show my batter usage. The only item not shown is Go SMS Pro and it's used 2% of my battery.

Any help in getting better battery life would be greatly appreciated. I am using the 2013.02.24 build, and haven't tweaked or adjusted anything. I am using all the default setting except for turning off animations and transition effects.

Thanks again for all your hard work and any input you can give.

word on the street...er, Google+...is that Koush is building an open-sourced SU app. Once that is in good working order, do you guys think you might start using that as the SU app (https://plus.google.com/103583939320326217147/posts/RhNobahysg4)

If you do or don't it's up to you, but now you know about it too. Cheers!

I saw that yesterday and heard the ui is really nice on it. We will look into the benefits of using that over the current supersu. I've always liked building the apps if possible instead of using prebuilts but this will continue to get looked at. Some people were complaining g about certain small issues yesterday but I believe most were fixed already

More than likely its your display. Are you sure the brightness isn't adjusting automatically for you?

Well, I switched again to where brightness is set to very low, not auto. There have been a few occurrences where the brightness seemed to be amped up, but it seems to be behaving better than it was. Still getting heavy battery drain by the display though.

After letting this ROM settle in a few days, still no let down in performance or stability. Greatest piece of work I've had the privilege of running on my GNex. Thinking of trying one of the latest nightlies. No change logs?
