My first was a 71 Chevy custom10, it was lowered, had an ls6 454 dropped in it with an m22 tranny, 3500lbs pressure plate with a ceramic clutch disk,I even put power steering in it, 3:73 gears, Cragar SS wheels, camaro bucket seats, had a sun roof installed.. it was awful green. . Was gonna paint it, but I sold it for an 82 trans am and 5k$

82 t/a, got rid of the cross fire fuel injected 305, and the th200-4r, put in a 70 chevelle 350 block in it, it was balanced at 7500, had a. 555/555 roller cam, and lifters, 1.7:1 rr's, 10.2;1 hypreutectic pistons in it, .30 over, dual 650 carter AFB's on a tunnel ram highrise from edelbrock, th-350 with a stage 2 b&m shiftkit, and a 2200 rpm converter, 10 inch.. putting the torque arm to the tail shaft was the trick, we welded a bracket and bolted it too, to the floor pan, had sub frame connectors, and adjustable suspension components out back, torque arm, lca's... sold it.

77 camaro Lt. It got much the same treatment as the 82 Trans am did. Sold it.

79 firebird formula, put a 400 big block in it with a 593/615 roller cam in it, roller lifters and roller rockers in it too.. sold it.

99 ws6 ram air, bought with a blown motor.. ls1.. 6 speed car.. put an lt1 from a totaled 94 camaro in it.. over course it wasn't stock. Tore it down and made it a drag motor, 383 stroker with a 200 shot of nitrous, turned it I to an auto, had art Carr build a tranny for it, and a converter.. back halfed it.. got it together and ran it 6 times, sold it..

99 Monte Carlo, built up the tranny and added an intercooler and a 30mm turbo, pushing 20 lbs of boost peak, altered the fuel map, changed the entire fuel system. 18 inch casino wheels, sold it.

2007 Monte Carlo SS, hit and totaled in my drive way... stock .

94 vette. Sold. Restoration

2011 vette sold.. didn't like it... wanted a z06..

94 firebird formula... 355, lots of chassis add ons, lots of stuff under it, more under way...

2012 duramax diesel..Chevy 3/4 ton.

Do boats count? Lol.

  • First: 67 Chevy Impala-bought it from my boyfriend for $50. The day I broke up with him, the transmission went... Karma is a b----!
  • 1974 Austin Marina-that car took me around the US!
  • 1982 Isuzu p'up-diesel- also took me traveling the US
  • A couple subarus
  • A few mom mobiles-mini vans (boy was I happy not to have to drive those anymore-the only automatic transmissions I ever owned)
  • 2001 Nissan Maxima
  • 2006 Saab 9-3

I would love to get my hands on a 2 door impala... :)

Yeah, if we knew then what we know now. Back then, I think I just took the plates off and let it sit there to be towed, never claimed it! But gee, 94lt1, you definitely had your share of cool cars!

'69 Ford Mustang Mach 1 w/ 390 PI (the 428 SCJ died) from a Galaxy, C6
'72 Chevy Nova w/ 350
'79 Chevy Camaro Z28 w/ 350 (total "boat", but looked good)
'96 Dodge Dakota, 318, lowered, AR rims, Thrush Flowmaster pipes
'00 Ford Explorer

:) Thanx.. I'm a gear head. Believe me, with cars like that, I spent a lot of time under the hood :) I don't have that kind of time now.. so I am very glad for new technology :)

Lmao... well jason... I didn't post one of my cars... I waited for your post.. lol.. a 66 shelby gt, 289, 4 speed.. candy apple red with white racing stripes, 4:11's, coupe, was a fast back , when I got it, it had a 351 Windsor in it.. my dad had bought it new in 66 when he got out of the army.

I restored it with him, gave it back to him after I bought it for 1000$.. he sold it :( that's why I hate fords... I loved that car..

If it was a coupe it wasn't a Shelby....sorry. but sounded like a wicked Stang for sure.

Who the hell pulled a Shelby engine out and put in a 351?? If it was a Shelby that was the dumbest move ever....

Lol, my dad was a musician not a mechanic... after about 240,000k the 289 was shot, so he bought a motor and had it put in. I told him that was terrible..

It was done in 77, two years before I was born... so I had no say lmao

I've only owned one car but I have driven several. Current ride is am 04 Grand Am.
