What cars have you owned?

Lol, my dad was a musician not a mechanic... after about 240,000k the 289 was shot, so he bought a motor and had it put in. I told him that was terrible..

It was done in 77, two years before I was born... so I had no say lmao

Wow that's alot of miles...I guess in 77 might not have known how valuable it was/would become. Oh well...what's done is done. Hope someone fixed it up right down the road.

You also have to remember, its just like a guitar... the old broadcasters/fender teles, were nothing special in the 70's. Same with those cars.

Yenko camaros.. same thing.. in the late 70's and 80's they were just a car that was once cool.

When we restored it, I found a numbers matching 289 block, and the intake, put it back to near original.

Yeah.. it was either that or make an Eleanor out of it.. the foose version... that just didn't feel right

I know lol that's why it didn't feel right :) there's a company here in tx that makes em too. Of course it was a 67, gt 500 not a 66 gt350.

That same place will also make it with a gt500kr super snake engine. Fuel injected and all.

Well a real Eleanor is a 73 Mustang Mach 1 but that's only for those in the know ;)
