What Pets Do You Have?

I have two little fur balls.

Maximo, a black & white Japanese Chin, he'll be six in a couple of months.

Missy, a gold & white Shih Tzu, who just turned six last week.

Even though they are little dogs they are not yappy or nippy. They barely bark at all, in fact as we walk around the neighborhood all the dogs inside houses and behind fences bark there heads off at us and my two just keep on walking not making a sound or paying any attention.

They love to play with each other and with me and then settle down for a nap on my lap or right beside me.

some new pics from the droid = his name is patrick ("fatrick", affectionately..)

Hi everyone love the pictures of your pets.
I have a Pug, White boxer that we just got told has auto immune disease it attacking his bone marrow. I have 2 big parrots one Yellow Nape Amazon and African Grey 1 Green Cheek conure 1 Cat and a Bearded Dragon name Puff.

So this is our first winter in this apartment. I used to put pet safe salt down to melt the snow. Here, its not my job.

So im going to buy Buddy some boots. People have tried to put "clothing" on him before. I cant see him keeping the boots on or walking with them on. But we will see come this afternoon.

I have three dogs: a Maltese-YorkiePoo (that looks like a Goth pup); a Toy American Eskimo (she's a diva), and a strange little Yorkie-Chi? He's an odd looking little thing with wiry hair. All are rescues.

I also have 23 sugar gliders, about half of which are rehomes or rescues. People get these adorable little pets, and they mistakenly believe they are easy-to-care for fuzzies (like a hamster or a gerbil). They're not. They are high-maintenance exotics with special needs. For more info on sugar glider ownership (a crash course, so to speak), I've created "Garnesy's Gliders 101/Garnesy's Gliders for Dummies".

Good luck with the boots--they can be tough at first! How did it work out?

If you are just trying to keep his paws from being damaged by salt or from becoming overly dried out in winter weather, I really like a product called PawGuard, made by Fourpaws. It's around $8. It's a lanolin-based wax that you rub into the paw pads to moistuize them. It doesn't stain carpets or furniture, is safe for the dog to lick, and the dog can't lick all of it off (mine tries!).

I have three cats. Two are sisters; six years old, that I inherited when my best friend passed away suddenly. The other, Roadrash, is one now. He was rescued by a good samaritan who watched him get tossed from a moving car on the interstate...she stopped and picked him up and brought him directly to the vet, who saved his life at no charge. He is my buddy! :icon_ banana:

You can see the damage to his left ear and right eye that remains, and his jaw was broken too. He terrorizes the older two, but he LOVES to play with me!

Glad he found a good home. Too bad they couldn't find the people that threw him out of the car and return the favor.... eye for an eye the way I see it.
