What size are you getting, 16 GB or 32 GB...and why?

This is a good reason to go with the 32GB model. Not being able to move apps to SD card and have apps access the SD card without some massaging is a real fail for the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Can't move apps to SD Card - xda-developers
So you are telling me 11GB off free space after the OS stuff is not enough for apps, that's enough storage for thousands of apps, more than enough for anyone, if you can remember them all, the only thing that goes to my SD are movies "not porn:biggrin:" and pictures and work files:icon_ devil:

Well it depends on usage. Mapping for both topo and aviation charts takes up space for me. If the apps do not access the micro sd it could make it tight on the 16 gb.

I understand your point. It is a surprise though that the "move to sd card" is non functional atm after being able to do so on many android devices for so long.

One thing for certain is change.

32gb, because why not?

bigger is better and if i need the extra space I have it and if not, oh well, i still have the option

I went with the 16gb and in all likely hood it'll be enough. If i had to do it again, I would go with 32gb because, like you said, why not.

11gb is definitely not enough! I have a 100 or so apps and mine is maxed out. Games like Nova 3, max payne, 9mm, gta 3 suck up like 1-1.5gb a piece, throw in a nandroid back up or 2 and you stuck wishing you would have bought the 32gb instead of the 16gb off of impulse. App2sd doesn't read the external sd card so your stuck. I would buy a 64gb if they offered it to the U.S. I'm not a fan of micro sd...i've had a few fail on me as well as slow transfer speed with supposed class 10 card.

Save yourself the money, the 32 GB model is just a 16 GB with a 16 GB SD card included for friggin' $50.00. I got ripped. =(

The 32 gig S3 is all internal storage it does not come with a 16 gig memory card.

You have 14 days to return it. Return and get the 32 gig S3

I got my 16GB today, but decided I should've ordered the 32GB instead. I called Verizon, they told me if I return it, it creates a new order for the 32GB, and I lose my unlimited data

I would call back and if they say the same thing tell them that you want to talk to their supervisor. You have 14 days to return it and they can not touch your contract. They are trying to get as meany people off of unlimited data as they can. They can not take it from you. It is in the contract that you agreed to

Alright thanks i'll call them again now

My 32 GB S3 came with a 16 GB SD card and 16 GB of Internal memory.

The Verizon Rep told me "That is how Verizon is selling it".

Not sure if I just got scammed or not but I have known the guy for years.
