What's your battery life like with the new JB?

I just wiped the cache. Will give it a couple of days to see if this have any affect on battery life or performance.

Just an FYI. I had a full charge at 8:00 this morning and after being in a very strong 4G area all day, a couple of short phone calls, half a dozen text messages, and 10 minutes on Twitter, as of at this moment, my battery is at 18%. This is ridiculous

That is definitely jacked up. When I put my phone on charge last night it had been running about 17 hours and was at 40% and I had used the heck out of it all day.

My battery also sucks since jb even after an FDR. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Android OS is also using WAY more battery than it ever did on ics.

Right now

SCREEN - 40%
VOICE CALLS - 25%
ANDROID OS - 15%

I have the screen set to AUTO brightness and I am very aware of making sure I turn the screen OFF when I'm finished doing whatever it is I'm doing at the time.

LAST 4 PHONE CALLS (only phone calls I've made or received today)
5:47
3:50
22:16
2:06

Someone please correct me if I am incorrect, but FDR alone is only part of the puzzle.
I believe that I remember back when ICS came out, that when doing and FDR, it was important to NOT let apps restore with old settings.

Can someone tell me what "Mediaserver" is? (See screen shot)
I never saw this in the past.
I do not sync. anything but email, but do stream from IHeart Radio.

It's not the bluetooth on mine. It must be something to do with the location services. I still have that turned off and battery life is much better, closer to ICS now. My only guess is there is an app that is pinging location all the time. Must have something to do with JB though as I only have a subset of the apps I had installed on ICS and nothing new.

Google maps was constantly trying to report my location. After turning that off my battery life has been much better.

Just got done with a LIVE chat session with Verizon and they are sending me a replacement phone tomorrow. I will keep you all posted once I get it and have been using it for a week or so.

If I am not mistaken, its dropbox, motocast, or VZ back up. One of those if you have it activated. I'd turn it off and update/sync manually if you are using one if them.

Have you done a battery calibration by performing two full charges while the phone is off. Let the phone run down till battery warning light comes on, shut phone completely off and charge it..usually best to do this process overnight..then repeat again. Give it a couple of days as it may not seemed to have worked. Then charge as normal..no need to turn off. I've also found giving the phone a small little charge during the day has helped...but again do that after battery calibration.
