Wrong, you only have about 12 between the internal storage and the "SD Card" card partition. Even less when you consider that the Android OS takes up some of that space.
Also the way Android caches files, the more filled up your internal partition gets, the slower your phone will start to run. I'm curious as to why you don't have an SD Card in it, the Bionic comes with a 16 gig card. And if you are really not even using the 12- gigs on your internal, you should invest $10 into a card just to keep your phone running snappy. Not to mention the convenience of having a place to back up software and files if your internal dies for some reason, or if you just want to move large amounts of data to a friend's device without having to pair via bluetooth or something.
