I'm running it now on a Verizon GN, unlock and root. That's what a Nexus is good for.

I've seen some posts on other forums mentioning that Verizon GNex's will start getting updated around Aug 15th. This is unconfirmed information though; if anybody can find any sources to verify it, that would be great.

My guess is this is still ICS and not Jelly Bean. On a side note I just got JB on my Xoom and the improvement is very noticeable. Makes me want it on my GNex now, lol

I'm still skeptical of it being an ICS update. That is based on the "reporting" that was being done about 4.0.5, which never existed.

I don't know Google and Verizon's arrangement but I am guessing ota updates may come faster now that Google is maintaining.
