Where's 4.0.4 ota?

If that happened to me I would've went ahead and rooted. That's the main thing that's holding me back. I got it just how I want it and I don't want to lose it all.

Yes it works very well. There is a full thread devoted to the program used in that video over at The Galaxy Nexus Community Forums which is a sister forum to the forums here. I used Wug's program and I was a first time rooter. It worked like a charm and I'm glad I did. There is very good Nexus support over there as well. Check it out. DancingNexus

Does the update, when it eventually rolls out, affect Google wallet at all? I have been using it and I really enjoy it. I would hate for it to screw it up.

I messed up somewhere,I don't think my drivers are set rite,so starting over.

Unlock and root. What's the big deal? That is what this device is for.

Well we all thought that this device was supposed to get updated directly from Google as well decreasing the time that we had to wait for updates.

So much for that "myth" being true.

You forget it's only been out for two months. Already working on 4.0.4. If you think that's slow for updates then you never had a Motorola lol!

Quite obviously you didn't look at my join date of Nov. 2009. I had the OG 3 days after release so I know all too well MR. Mar. 2011. ...LOL, ROFL , and LOLLERCOPTERS!!!!

Okay I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering where the hell the 4.0.4 ota is. I'm not gonna root this phone yet so installing the leak isn't gonna happen. Are they ever gonna release it? If it is as good as it sounds why wouldn't they release it? Probably some kind of Verizon bull. But that wouldn't hold back the gsm update would it? Idk, just seems like its taking awhile. What do you guys think?

Why don't you want to root? It's incredibly simple and would let you have your 4.0.4 now.

All you need to do is flash this and you're good to go. I strongly suggest doing so. I flashed this a couple days ago and my Nexus is a completely different phone than it was even on 4.0.3. Speed, stability, battery life and even signal are all drastically improved. Think about it, I don't think you'd be disappointed.

Considering Verizon has to approve Google's update, there's no telling when or if we'll even get 4.0.4 officially. It may be 4.0.5, 4.0.6 or something else. With Verizon involved you should have NO expectations.
