While we wait ....

At least you can track yours. I don't even know where mine's originating from. If they have a hub in Chicago like someone said and the device was there, I could have mine by the weekend. If it traveled most of the day yesterday and then through the night, it could be in town right now. I have no way to know. AHHHHHHH!! Haha

Still waiting...they changed tracking to show "by end of day", though it is on the truck.
At least you know that by the end of the day, it will be in your hands, and all will be right.

I've seen a few devices ship from Illinois.

I'm about 6 hours from Chi town, so it'd be nice to have tracking info. I thought about leaving a note at home so they'll leave it, but I figured they might not go for it if there's no tracking number to verify that it was left by me. Idk if they'd even really care.

This part of the waiting is definitely more brutal than the waiting for the shipment notification in the first place. I was telling my wife last night. I waited and got excited for every email only to be let down, but that's not over. I'm still waiting for another email with tracking info. I wouldn't be mad if the phone's waiting for me at lunch though...

If it's shipped by FedEx Ground and they require a signature, they won't leave it no matter what.

Sure they will if you leave a note on the door asking them to leave it, then sign and print your name. I've been doing it for years with both UPS & FedEx.

It depends on the type of signature required. If it's a direct signature, they need a signature in person from someone at the address. If it's indirect, you can sign the door tag and they'll leave it.

I would hope so, especially since we have no location where we can pickup packages they've tried to deliver.

Again, not true. They've always left direct signature packages for me. Maybe it's different where you live, but I've been doing it for years in Florida & Idaho.

It is true, I work there and that's how it's suppose to be done. They're not following policy if they're leaving direct signature packages. Trust me.
