Who is going to...[Re-Revisited]-Vending.apk

Can't get it to work?
I flashed Darkside.zip (from OP) through CW.
Rebooted.
Market went missing (no vending.apk in /system/app/)
And no new "Black Market" in app drawer...
Re-flashed UD2.5 and now back to "old market"
I know now to install the "org" New Martket, but can someone tell me how to get the themed "darkside" martket to work from here? B/c flashing it thru CW didn't seem to work for me?

Maybe need to wipe and reflash the backup you made prior to installing in order to get your market back.

Or do you have Root Explorer? Check under system/apps. and post what is installed if anything. But I think is still there somewhere. Should be at the bottom. named Vending.apk . not vending.apk

Sonny, go to the UD section, I believe it has been successfully done there. I had to switch back and hadn't even tried it yet.... I will be getting to that tomorrow.. working on blacking out google search right now...

I can confirm that it also does on Ud 2.5

Ok. what I would do is (a) safe bet:

Wipe and restore a full backup to when market was working

or (b)

(b) mount rw in RE and uninstall that Vending.apk
and try to install the themed market.zip again via sprecovery or clockwork

Is your choice. Or maybe someone has a better option. Good luck! Hope you get your inverted market installed soon.

Yep... just flashed to UDv2.5, and installed darkside market just fine with the same results (blackmarket icon and Vending.apk in system/apps)..
then flashed TruBlue over that and it again flashed correctly but with market icon and Vending.apk in system/apps... so that's additional confirmation that these all should work just fine on UDv2.5

And I also agree with LA about nandroiding back to a confirmed working market, then flashing these over UDv2.5.... especially if you ever introduced the 'v'ending.apk that's in the blackmarket.zip from the OP

Ok, I got it to work.
The first time I flashed darkside.zip, I had the "New Makert" installed (maybe that was causing the issue.)
I re-flashed UD2.5 with "OLD Market" working, I flashed darkside.zip and that did the trick..
