wifi tether on vicious jb

Anybody know of a fix for WiFi tethering on vicious jelly bean ROM?
I'm on Verizon galaxy nexus running the latest version of vicious jb rom. I've tried WiFi tether and barnacle app as well as the native/stock tether. The first two dont show up when searching for networks. And the native tether connects but is local only. Any help would be appreciated.

Try Foxfi in the market. I used it before flashing ICSourcery, which btw is phenomenal!

Unfortunately foxfi doesn't work either. Must be a compatibility with jellly bean issue
