Not sure that your last statement is absolutely true. I'm hoping I'm remembering this correctly....Remember when the ICS leaks first started to come out that some of us had issues installing them due to the .905 file we were using. If you were on the leak of .905, you couldn't install the ICS leaks. You had to have to OTA version of .905 to install. So there is a chance that (slight, slight , slight chance) that something could be different. Hopefully, I'm not imagining things here.

You are absolutely wrong. There WAS no difference, as a matter of fact, the .905 OTA never touched my phone until well AFTER I had installed my first leak (I am the originator of the .905 leak, actually). Most of the people having issues were using Safestrap. A build is a build. By definition, if something in .246 were changed, the entire thing would have to be rebuilt, and it would no longer be .246

Yep. I had to school some of 'em on exactly WHAT an MD5 sum is, and they STILL tried to tell me it was possible that it changed, and that it was a coincidence that the MD5 computed the same.

Morons. A build is a build and an md5 is an md5.

That's it. I'm done waiting. If it turns out that .246 is not the official OTA, I'll still be happy with ICS via HoB. Doing the deed tonight.

No need to "be happy" IF 246 isn't the OTA. The OTA will have what has proven over bionic, razr, and D4 to be ICS security, we'll use the mini and jump. Don't sweat it.

Probably less than 1% but you can never tell the future, things DO go wrong at the last minute. Nothing in life is 100% guaranteed except for death and taxes LOL
