Maybe I'm crazy, but do I remember something about the previous ICS leaks wiping your SD-EXT as well as the internal memory?

Negative. Installing an update will not wipe anything. FXZ'ing could. And nothing should touch sdcard-ext....not even an FXZ.

I don't know if you can do it from the phone in settings. But I always do it in recovery anyway. It's not hard to boot into recovery and do it. You don't have to install anything...just boot into recovery, select factory reset, bada boom.

Stock recovery is legit way to go about it, if nothing more than to get yourself more acquainted with the recovery menu. But yeah, at least on moto phones you can initiate a factory reset from the menus. I believe it's under the security section.

Not when u got 8 gigs of ram an an intel extreme quad core 12mb L2 cache an oced to 4.0 ghz liquid cooling an fsb of 1600 mhz running windows 8 pro

Yea, I recall seeing it in there somewhere. We should have an FXZ a few weeks after the OTA so that's another option. The HoB is going to automatically support it. I wrote some dark magic into that thing.
