No. Was not on this forum. And no one has said that. I just want people to understand that when I get frustrated for people that don't read, this would be why...I'm spending a lot of time providing help to everyone I can. It's difficult for one person to handle so many users.

Don't try to remove google now. If you do, you'll be visiting the House in tears. Once it's installed, it takes over and I've yet to find anyone who's successfully reverted without a massively painstaking process.

Can't you just plug your phone into your PC, save the 'leak' to your sd card, boot into recovery, and install the leak? Or does it not work that way?

No I don't plan on it. If I ever did would reinstall the complete 246 zip. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't even think a factory reset will completely remove it.

NO, it wasn't me! Samuri may lack certain... people skills (!) but he's a damn good tech and a damn good soul for doing all the work he's done for our community and I very much appreciate his help.

If I can't do at least some legwork to figure out why RSD is not connecting with my phone, I have no business trying to do the upgrade.

I just want everyone to get their ass on 246. Especially if they're 235+ already. And RSD just was NOT doing it for him for whatever reason. I may put out another RSD package for 5.7 again so people can switch between them. See if that makes any difference. But now i have the custom script. It's neat...it'll scan your update dirs, build the menu dynamically, and then it'll prep the phone to install that update. It's very quick. It doesn't do any of the pushing the update or rooting or anything else. It simply preps the phone and gives the instructions for installing the update. That's it.

well, I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and use the HOB this weekend and move up from .232! I did finally install 7.2 but why is the Force whispering to me that there may be a 7.3 forthcoming??

I gave serious consideration to just installing the leak straight, but I want the potential safety net of the HoB. So if I do try to upgrade again, it'll be through the HoB.

I am pretty sure that if you are rooted it will break the process during the install when it checks prior system. That is if you are not using the HOB.
