Lest people think I don't do my best to help, I just wrote someone who's having problems with RSD a custom installer script that basically uses moto-fastboot to flash the system, boot, preinstall, and webtop to prep the phone for installing the update so they can go from 244 to 246. :)

Above and beyond the call of duty, once again!

Above and beyond the call of duty, once again!

I just want everyone to get their ass on 246. Especially if they're 235+ already. And RSD just was NOT doing it for him for whatever reason. I may put out another RSD package for 5.7 again so people can switch between them. See if that makes any difference. But now i have the custom script. It's neat...it'll scan your update dirs, build the menu dynamically, and then it'll prep the phone to install that update. It's very quick. It doesn't do any of the pushing the update or rooting or anything else. It simply preps the phone and gives the instructions for installing the update. That's it.

I don't like not being able to see the day at a glance. I hate having to scroll down to see the later time periods. In GB I didn't have that problem.

They did rework it. Honestly I used the Calendar widget on both GB and now ICS.

This one defaults to month view - so what I do is go to the "<Month> <Year>" pull-down - pick "Day", and then hit the little Calendar icon. That seemed to bring all the events in a view that was more like what GB did.

Hope this helps.

I've been on ics since the day it first leaked... my wife doesn't seem to mind 905 apparently, but she still gets daily data drops and other problems...

You do realize that i'm gonna smack you upside the head with an underclocked Blackberry Storm if you don't get .246 on that damn phone, right? :p:biggrin:

You mean this?:

The only thing I don't like about ICS at the moment is the Calendar - can anyone recommend a good alternate app?

And speaking of that - what are your must have apps? Just curious.

I've been using simple calendar pro since my original droid x, it has a bunch of options (most of which I dont use) but it can display multiple calendars and it has a pretty good widget.

Now who the flock that has read the majority of the 198 + pages in this thread would EVER say that????? Give me their name and I'll hit them with a defunct BB Storm!! Out of curiosity, was this the Captain?

Done sir and took it one step further, just got Google Now on 246 and works beautifully. Lovin it. Even though I have never used HOB thanks for your work.:hail:

Can't you just plug your phone into your PC, save the 'leak' to your sd card, boot into recovery, and install the leak? Or does it not work that way?
