Wireless Moot

I know I never treat a battery perfectly, I work at Boston Logan as a Ramp/Cargo supervisor. So with the dramatic changes in temperature and other factors that I have to go through I have already had to change out a battery in my bionic, and that is extended battery to extended battery, though now reading more and more about .905 anad .902 over the past few months I wonder how much of it was actually me
Nobody really does, that's why I say a battery will "last" about 1.5 years, max. Proper battery care requires more effort than most people want to make, and since it requires discharging to a low level, means sometimes you may run out of battery power at a bad time.

First off.. let me pay a visit to the Sam Altar and extend my thanks.. :hail:

The real awesome of that HoB script comes in and you have to move from one build to the other. Going from 905 to 242 was urine test simple.. Going from 242 to 246 - a bit more complex. That script makes it as easy as literally 1 2 3 (and not skipping any of those). My Bionic is now purring along on 246.

Offhand I would say the stuff Sarge is posting is not flattering to VZW. If I were one of the Pointy Haired Bosses at VZW I'd be wanting to lock it down where nobody knows anything about anything. So if we do get anything we should be fortunate. Still, damn.. to be a fly on that wall!

Update just saw Sarge's update.. damn.. holy crap man.. be careful! It's fun for us.. but it isn't a game to them!

Well idk so i am not taking it lightly
I actually don't think you could be held liable or charged, but i'd still be careful. I say this because you're only repeating something "a little bird told you". You are not directly involved in negotiations, and I assume don't work for VZW or Moto. So you're not really giving out facts, just speculation (after all, your source COULD be lying to you) - really nothing more than these types of tech blogs do when they report certain things. The worst they get is a cease and decist order. It's your actual source that could be civilly and criminally liable. (DISCLAIMER: I am not implying you or your source is lying, just speaking from a legal standpoint. And I am not an attorney, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night *LMAO*)

Just out of curiosity, exactly what was more difficult moving from 242->246 then going from 905->242? I only ask because I always find HoB to be equally simple for moving between any build you are currently able to move to.

So apparently there is a problem with apple's new maps service. I didn't think iphone users needed maps. I thought they just blindly followed others.

Your buddy Jim down at the bar claims to know someone associated with Verizon somehow that told him ________________________________________________? You don't know if it's true or not, but it was sort of interesting.

Smoke signals, passenger pigeons, note drops out the window, late night meetings in rental cars out at the airport...you know all the tried and true stuff.

Going from 242 to 246 required the INSTALL option and the Reboot The Bootloader is REQUIRED. It wasn't hard per se.. I did not realize that Reboot the Bootloader was critical to the rest of the process completing successfully - particularly the "Flash the phone" part which was CRITICAL in allowing 246 to be installed.

OK.. so I'm a dunce on that.. but as the saying goes:
"Nobody is a complete waste, they can always be used as the bad example."

So.. fortunately I didn't wreck myself, but steps should never get glossed over/thought needless as I was doing.
