I think it's talk like this that will get the thread shut down. Relax and take a breathe. Last night some frayed nerves got exposed and people let off some steam. It's over now and there's no sense in holding a grudge.

I have it set to give me a sound and a notification and both work. Not tried setting it to vibrate, though.

Haven't tried playing with sounds yet. I prefer vibrate for email otherwise this thing will be going off constantly. I'll give it a whirl to see what happens though.

Check phone settings, plus App settings.Sometimes they are different.

I have my other exchange account set up through the stock email app to vibrate only, which works fine. The touchdown account is only synced with touchdown, not the stock app (it wouldn't sync any other way). Thanks to both of you for the tips I'll keep tinkering.
