Erm.. how many music and pictures did you have on your phone?

Thinking when this update is rolled out I might see about moving some stuff around on my Wife's phone before updating it.

good question. when updating via ota should we be aware of battery life and amt of pics etc on the phone.? or will that only matter if forcing install via leaks?

best idea would be to move all media off, update, and then back on when completed

Thinking when this update is rolled out I might see about moving some stuff around on my Wife's phone before updating it.

Not very many pictures, but a lot of music and my card is a 32GB card... :icon_eek:

Just for you....a new addition to the FAQ.

Q: I've finished the upgrade and now it's scanning my media files. How long does THAT take??
A: Ummm, how many you got? I can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 10+ hours. BEFORE doing the upgrade, if you have a lot of media, you may wish to move them temporarily til the upgrade is finished.

Sooo glad I had the forethought to do that. Truth be told, I backed things up off the phone in case I ruined it.
