fair point, but again i feel thats the carriers fault... look at the price difference from the VZW Nexus and the Google Play Nexus... there isnt much differences between the 2 (granted LTE obviously)... so i agree, i blame VZW for the inflated price there

That's why VZW always has you bent over the barrel. You have no CHOICE but to purchase a device from them. Even if you could somehow buy a CDMA/LTE GNex from Google Play, Verizon wouldn't allow it on their beloved network.

yup agreed, and this is an issue only in the USA really... hopefully the injunction will address this (somehow)

You know, the funny thing is I only HATE my Bionic when I sit around and think about what a turd of a device it has been (thanks to Verizon). I run .247 on it, find myself liking it, and then it hits me - it's NOT official, and because of it, my EXTENDED warranty that I pay extra for every month is "moot".

I'm one of those poor souls stuck on .905 and my Bionic is still awesome. I'm am very satisfied and willing to wait as long as it takes.......as long as my supply of Thorazine, single malt, beer, and numerous other spirits and pharmaceuticals holds out...:blink: I think I'll have another.....of each.

Ok, I called vzw trying to find out what chipset I have they were no help so they passed me over to moto and they were no help either. Ugh I looked up the serial number chat and my IMEI # looks nothing like that. How are you guys finding it?

Mine either. Actually none of the number in side the phone have that format. I did see something on mine that looks like a date code it said 27/11. So if that is a date code that puts mine July 4th thru the 10th.
