Well, it's up to Moto. Either they release JB for the Bionic, or I spend my money elsewhere next time.

My problem is that we THINK ICS is coming, and we THINK JB is coming. But where is the real evidence that they are actively trying to do something about pushing it out to us? If I was one of the poor souls stuck on .905, i'd probably be homicidal by now.

I am one of those poor souls. Not quite homicidal, lol. Definitely getting antsy, though.

I'm one of those poor souls stuck on .905 and my Bionic is still awesome. I'm am very satisfied and willing to wait as long as it takes.......as long as my supply of Thorazine, single malt, beer, and numerous other spirits and pharmaceuticals holds out...:blink: I think I'll have another.....of each.

Admit it though, it's pretty bad when I can get a more modern OS on a Virgin Mobile phone than I can on my "top of the line" Bionic. Bionic+Android 2.3.4 = low-midrange device at best.

i believe sarge, we will be getting JB... by latest march, but i think earlier. just a gut feeling, and those have been pretty good recently haha

Of course, by the time we DO get it, it will be considered "aged". So we're right back to running an outdated OS once again. We'll get 4.1.1; everyone else on the planet will get 4.2

this i will agree with you on. but that is old Moto/ VZW contracts fault... the bionic was doomed from release to be behind, if it where not for Google buying out Moto and stepping in to fix it.

edit: at least JB is a good OS for the Bionic (basing off of the ICS update) unlike GB... id much rather be stuck on JB than GB lol

If that's indeed the case, they should have sold it to me for $300, not $600.

fair point, but again i feel thats the carriers fault... look at the price difference from the VZW Nexus and the Google Play Nexus... there isnt much differences between the 2 (granted LTE obviously)... so i agree, i blame VZW for the inflated price there
