Hmm. My Bionic says, "Droooiiiidddd!" when it boots up. Is that a sign of anything?
A sign that you renamed a drooooiiiiidddd.ogg to bootsound.ogg or whatever and .bak-ed the actual one? My actual one is .baked and when it boots it says "breakin' the law, breakin' the law"

I'm not worried about ICS at this time anymore. Come a week or two from now, then we can talk about it. But right now I'm like set to just go to bed/continue with my life/not worry about it/continue as usual risking getting into car accidents because Gingerbread's bluetooth functionality BARELY works with my car radio and I have to keep re-connecting it while I'm driving. :P

If it's getting to the point of risking getting into an accident, then I cannot for the life of me comprehend WHY you don't have one of the leaks installed, at least .232 - if it's a matter of safety, you NEED to do whatever it takes to make your phone work correctly.

I installed CM10 at 11:30-ish, now i'll be up half the night playing with JB on my Bionic.

mine just scared the living **** out of me... it got stuck on moto logo for a while, then on droid for a bit then didnt show full bionic eye thing... well just get to the homescreen lol

(edit: i do realize it takes a bit longer on first boot up)

I did actually have the .229 leak installed at one point, when it was brand new. And the bluetooth worked beautifully with my car radio and my phone. I rolled back to .905 again though in anticipation for the ICS update, because it was supposed to release in EARLY Q3.

Now I'm just like "**** it." I don't feel like messing with leaks anymore, and I don't feel like having to go on my mom's computer to get back on the OTA path because all my computers are on Linux and the RSD tool is windows only... So I'm living with it.

I dunno man, you've been following this stuff close enough and you know how to use HoB, right? At this point, we're about 99% sure that .246 is going to be the OTA. At this point, i'd just pop that on my sdcard, install it, and hope for the best. It's worth it to have a phone that is safe to use while on the road. At this point Verizon has approved .246; it's almost like not messing with a leak at all.

I ALWAYS walk away and find something to do during that first boot up. It always takes forever and always makes ya think something has gone wrong.

And are we absolutely SURE that Verizon won't pull that stunt they did with .244?

I'd say we're about 99% sure. But I get the feeling it is already in the queue to a) soak, or b) go OTA without a soak. Something will happen after the Atrix 2 update, i'd bet. I'd take that 1% chance and get on to actually enjoying your phone. You've already had a taste of ICS and working Bluetooth, you have GOT to be craving ICS badly.

Oh I am, trust me on that. But for some reason, I feel like I'll have more satisfaction waiting for the OTA... I dunno why. XD
If I put ICS on now, after tonight I won't really have anything to look forward to. (Not gonna get into too much about
that, because then we're talking about my lifestyle/depression and blarg.) xD

I'm weird. XD
