Hob

Another satisified HOB customer here! Thanks for all your hard work Sam and Sarg. The only advice I can give for those of you using this, is to read, read, read, read, read and then when you know you understand it completely then read, read, read. on another note what is the best (easiest) way to overclock? I was hoping JB would bump my bionic to 1.2GHZ like the RAZR, but it doesn't seem to have done that.. any suggestions?

Another day... sigh. Hit the check for updates button just because I am dumb. Of course that doesn't yield any results. Bleeeeh

This thread definitely slowed down a bit. The surprise release of the Atrix 2's ICS update before the Bionic seems to have caught a lot of us flat-footed.

Back to waiting patiently for something to happen.. either more news or, God forbid, an actual release of some sort. I just hope it's 246 - if it's anything else hopefully we can get the installer for whatever does come out.

Bacon does not belong in my coffee...... Nothing goes in my coffee..... Bacon goes directly into the stomach...... A little slobber and down the hatch....

Only slowed down because some of these guys needed to get some sleep.....

Been following this thread pretty closely. Wanted to say been on cm10 2 days. Can 360 works great. The ROM feels very smooth. When the OTA hits I'll prolly install it back it up and come right back to this one and keep flashing the updates. I'm still on 232 underneath. I'll bet it'll be even better on top of 246. Done with hijack back to the previously running thread.

that may be but I'll try it at least once.

There are certain things that I just won't mess with, like my coffee and my donuts..... I tried the bacon maple bar thing and why anyone would ruin a perfectly good piece of bacon that way, I'll just never understand!

Now, hamburgers with crumbled bacon mixed in the patty, yummm.... Bacon wrapped jalapeno, Yummmm...... Bacon Wrapped Corn Dog, Yummmm.....

If you're stuck on 1 Ghz with ics it's fixable, but there are risks. The way I do it, it's a manual process that takes a few files and root explorer.

yeah it's weird that they can't get the CPU speed locked in. When I was running 232 I had 1.2 ghz now that I update to 246 it has been reverted to 1.0 ghz.

Odd.. I tested mine right after upgrading to 246 and have 1.2 GHz. Though I can't say i tested it under previous builds.

It may well be a "luck of the draw" thing. Some can do 1.2 some cannot. Processors do have a bit of variance in them as they are being produced. Would be nice to be able to ask someone fully "in the know" at Motorola about things like this and particularly how the determination is made.
