Then learn to install moto drivers, moto-fastboot, and adb. Then you can learn the manual processes to the HoB and start flashing your phone like a grown up.

To keep you from having to go into the awful "Start Menu"? I can zip around the Win8 interface like nothing nowadays. Mouse cursor to lower right of screen, click Settings, click Power, click Shut Down. Took me FOREVER to figure it out while I was running the consumer preview, though.

I just need to click the gear, then click shut down, and thats it. Its always at the top right corner even at the login screen. The interface is simple, concise, consistent, and perfect.

For those worried about the HoB, take a test drive as mention by SamuriHL a few pages (like 10) back. Open it up with your phone UNPLUGGED, select the install option, then just it "N" at each prompt. Again, for a test run only, leave you r phone UNPLUGGED from the computer. Read the steps, make sure you know what they do and how to follow them.

I'll do it to an old Droid phone, if I get one... I'd like to at some point actually. Just to have, so I can fool around with it.
Either a Droid 1 or Droid 2. I dunno.

Get a Droid 1, the Droid 2 is boring due to the locked bootloader. Might as well get a Google Experience device if you wanna learn to play the correct way.

*LOL* Well, yes, I do tend to go to bed about once every 24 hours. Don't know why, just seems like the right thing to do. 6:30 comes early. Need my 6.5 hours of sleep!
