Won't sync google contacts. help!

I dont even have my gmail in my accounts/syc page. When I try to add it it wants server infrmation and won connect.

This sounds like the gapps.zip was never installed

and flash it in recovery (rename to update.zip if you're using spr)

Ahhh ok will try that tonight. Didn't have an ussb cable on me so couldn't rename it or move to /sdcard after installing saphire.

also try putting a cvpcs kernal on and activate copmcach in settings>gemtools>performance it makes the rom ultra fast
