So is the next step to banish the endless "rooting" threads to the "hacks" forum, the numerous questions about applications to the applications forum, the bug reports to the bugs forum, and the commentaries about cases to the accessories forum?
If a phone runs android then droid owners have a lot in common with whatever phone that is. I think that sticking together to share solutions and ideas is the best thing to do.
Haha is bad that I kinda like all the new incredible threads? It can get a little "my phone is better than yours" at times from both sides but I dunno I like participating in all the excitement of a new device. I kinda would like it if all the new devices get a subforum on this site rather than a new site, isn't this what being an android community is all about? I know this was originally a forum for the Motorola Droid but I think it'd be cool if it started to evolve to be something else/bigger. But agreed maybe some kind of filtering solution would be cool as an option.
The "my phone is longer than yours" is getting old. I'm tired of the threads comparing the two phones and all threads related to the two phones names being mentioned...
Um, Lets focus on knocking the iPhone off the top of the hill. In few months there will a new toy(s) to start the hype up all over again.
Me, I like a forum thats diverse. I think thats what makes this place great. I actually dont think the admins had to make an entire other site for just the Incredible. They have a subsection right here.
When in watching a MLB game and ibstart seeing spots for the Incredible then I will change my mind. So far all I've seen is. 30 second short video on you tube for the Incredible. Its not Verizon's flagship phone.
And you are correct, I usually don't go in Verizon stores. I think I've been in one twice in the past two years.
Well, prepare to get used to it. I'm guessing you missed out on the wave of the very same threads on the N1? We're just going to have more and more of these in the future. At least the Droid Incredible is a Droid.
Actually, Droid is specifically a Verizon marketing term in this context. This was explained well before the Motorola Droid was ever released (that Droid was to be a line of Android devices as well as a flagship release model from Motorola). Most Droid sites I've run across choose to include all of Verizon's Droid line.
