In general, do you usually get devices more than 2 weeks before they release?

Hmm... I have only gotten two other phones prior to release... I got the Droid X probably 2 weeks before it was released (and then bought one), and about 3 weeks ago I was given the HTC Windows 7 Phone (HTC Trophy).

I would have had the TBolt last Monday (21st) but my VZW rep said that she had the phone but no SIM card... not sure if that is true or not, but from what I can tell this phone is ready for release. The only thing that would change that would be if there are 4G LTE issues (which I wouldn't know as I am too far away).

Yeah, it's back on like page 2 or something, but it is made of metal and the hinge is also well constructed/beefy/durable. You would have to really do something horrible to break it off...

I actually work in the IT department, so I am very "geek-oriented." As a backup, I am an Administrator for our Cell Phones. My VZW Account Manager is awesome and keeps me up to date on various new technologies and phones. She also knows that I will provide her with honest and thorough feedback on anything she gives me.

90% of the time, I don't get to test and phone before it is released by VZW. With the Droid X and TBolt, I basically sent her a daily email asking to try one out... the HTC Trophy (Win7 Phone), she new that we had some Windows Mobile phones that we used for special applications and wanted to give the company a leg up.

I sell IT to companies that would be very good customers of Verizon. Maybe I can get a meeting at your company, sell you some servers/power/VDI/vmware/you name it, and you can show me the TB?

I can check with my wife's Incredible battery tonight. If I remember hers though, it is bigger and thinner than the TBolt's.
