eff that, i attempted becoming a rooter twice. got too frustrated with having o mak backups, and having to wipe and getting stuck it boot loops. eff that. i like my android 2.1 unrooted with launcherpro please

Just got a warranty replacement with stock 2.1. I've been to chicken to even attempt rooting. I thinkim just going to wait for the 2.2 ota. I'm a very basic user, but I'm sure I'm missing out on a whole lot.

yes you are. 2.2 ota won't even come close to what you can do with 2.2 rooted =}

now that is funny! thought i was the only one with droid abuse. im starting learn what tparker76 suggested, mess around with apk's and framework. i have hunted and hunted for something new. now i have to create my own fun.
last night wife out for night, kid in bed, now i can try a new rom, wham power out for the rest of night, droid battery at 60% im pacing in the candle light like a junkie wishing the dam electricity would come back on. having a blast! thanks everyone for you help!

lol, I'm in rehab now, just unrooted with sbf to get ESE81 back on here. Its actually quite satisfying after months of rom addiction. I'm really surprised at how much I don't miss root actually.

Everyday is spent hoping something new and exciting will come out...a new rom to try out, a new theme, a new notification bar, anything. A day without something new has become a disappointment spent refreshing various Droid news sites and forums hoping, all to no avail.

Next time your waiting for something new, with no end in sight, start pulling apart your system.apk's and framework and make your own themes, it's a whole other world to be explored

yeah if crack isnt getting you your fix mix it up with some H and that'll get you going again:icon_ rocker:

If I could get NexTheme on CM6, I'd probably never switch again!
