Your Warranty Replacement just might be a Droid 2 / Incredible

I am in the security business (casino surveillance) all over the country and my droid is part of my job so when my replacement did not arrive this morning it started a 3 hour phone ordeal, long story short delivery was promised by noon central time but never shipped because the warehouse was out
 
i'm on my fourth droid (manufacturer's warranty). if this one breaks i'm going to try to get an incredible or x. i'm tired of being sent terrible low quality replacements (they are).
i've heard of other people getting their way, so i'm going to try if this one breaks
 
Well im sorry to hear that atleast you got an upgrade just checked my email and I don't have a tracking number i'll give it until Monday hopefully I get notification that it shipped or by Wednesday I will be calling and fussing
 
I just called to get a replacement. This will be my 4th. They said they had them in stock and I should have it by wednesday. Still waiting on the tracking number though, but I'm assuming that will take a few hours at least.

Im still waiting on my tracking number. I should have already had seeing it should have shipped and I should get it tomorrow oh well ill make it work
 
My wife had an Incredible and lost it. This was about a month ago so Assurion and everyone else was out of stock on Incredibles. They offered her a Droid or Droid X as replacement. I told her to get the X, but upon seeing it in the store she didn't want it. I told her it was better in every way, but she thought it was 'too big'. Why does that matter? She doesn't keep it in her pocket, she keeps it in one of her huge purses. But whatever. She waited 2 weeks and then got a brand new (not refurb) Incredible. Man I wanted that X. :)
 
5, 6 replacements? Damn... I have yet to ever send in a phone for warranty exchange or file a claim. Either some of you just abuse your phones or you're just trying to fake a claim to get a free upgrade if you ask me.
its not unusual for someone to go through alot of phones...i know of a couple ppl lol
 
I went to VZW on Saturday with issues with the froyo update. They could not establish a data connection after the recovery. After an hour of complaining I should be receiving a Droid 2 under mfg warranty. From what I was told VZW is no longer going to supporting the Droid 1. Also I called asurion and spoke with a supervisor of custom service and was informed that Droid 1 are on national back order. The comparable phone replacements are the devour, Eris or the ally. How do those compare to the Droid 1?

Terribly IMHO. I just recieved my D2 as a replacement for my D1. Well kinda, I was offered a early upgrade to either the X or 2 so here I am.
 
I'm on my 4th Droid 1 since April. According. To my receipt from VZW I am getting.a D2. It has a A955 in the product code for shipment. I actually was looking forward to rooting an installing a custom ROM.
