Yup another "amazed at the battery life" thread

I'm eligible for an upgrade in May, and the RAZR MAXX is one device I am seriously considering (hopefully it won't still be $299 by then). My main question is, with such long battery life, does it also take a long time to charge?

If I could kill it I would let you know. LOL

Finally putting on charge. 2d 3h 20m on the first full charge. 9h 27m screen on and down to 5%. Tomorrow out and about and on the network will be the real test.

I normally get such good life I keep 4g on all the time, except when home, and then it's WiFi time.
I low usage days I've gotten 90% after 10 hours, and 55% on high usage days.

But a day ago I got a real scare, I was looking for a podcast I had listened too and had re-downloaded a dozen or more.

My battery was 35% after 6 hours! I stuck back on a charger for 45 minutes (yes I can be away from it that long!)
I also took it off 4g to 3g and it worked fine the rest of the day. Today seems to be working great again.
Something must have got stuck?
Or sometimes 4g sucks battery like a black hole.

Near 3hrs from 0%...
Just charge while sleeping ...

I definitely don't get that long . 4g almost all day then wifi at night. But I must say I would charge the d1 3 to 4 times a day so I am really happy.

For instance I use my phone to play Pandora when I ski, with the d1 from 8am to noon I would only have 20% battery left. That's in cold weather and 3g. Did the same thing this weekend and had 83% left! Also 3g.

Does anyone have a good idea of the differences between 3g only and 4g only battery life? I have yet to be on a 4g network as the closest one is prolly 2.5 hours away. On 3g this phone is simply amazing. Even when the red light is flashing with 5% left, I can still stream radio, use gps, and surf the web and still will last another 30mins or so.

I used pandora for a while today 5 1/2 hours. made a few calls, some web surfing. display was only 46 min. still have 70% after 11 hours.
I'm only on 3G though. What does it take to kill a battery in a day? Last charge went 1d 17h before I charged it (15% left), that was with excessive playing of talking tom 2 by my son. and installing a half dozen apps via wifi.

Apparently 4g all day and GPS for an hour and twenty minutes will kinda kill it. But than again its been off the. Charger for 9 hours and 45 minutes and I still have 55%.

Encouraging to know. You still have plenty left over before bedtime.
