Yup Lte is down again

Down in the DC MD VA area too. Since I work in a bad reception area, I use 4G sparingly, only when I really want it. Been on 3G the whole day anyway. Wouldn't have known if not for this thread.

I'm about 3 miles from my house and have 4G again but dunno for how long. It came back only after I turned off wifi which I usually don't have to do. (Waterford, Michigan)

I'm still down 3g/4g, but I remembered one of my new coworkers has a Bionic and I asked him. Apparently he is not affected by this at all.

4g Down in Cleveland. Did the fix for my Rezound shown on page 1 and got my 3g working again. I was dead in the water for a bit.

just south of austin 4g dead .. changed settings to cdma only rebooted phone 3g is working
I even called verizon they said it is down nationwide. they also said any 4 g capable phone does the 3g through the sim card in it may not work at all until the 4 g is fixed.. but after changing my settings my bionic is working 3g but slow

bionic here and my wife has the droid charge. No 3g or 4g here since about 11 am. Really frustrating, thought it was my phone. Weird thing is that 3g came back for about 5 minutes then it went away again.

3G just came back in for me in Tucson, only if I select CDMA only.

Damn, did I pick the wrong day to upgrade. I work outside all day from my work truck and a few guys use Verizon 4G wireless cards and they were having issues in the early afternoon. I have the Verizon 3G wireless card and had no issues. I never put 2 & 2 together.

I tried upgrading the other day from Droid X to Rezound and got pop ups saying my plan wasn't compatible.....but it was. Called VZW today, they confirmed that, and that for some reason, my account was selected for an upgrade bonus of $100 PLUS my $30 NE2 discount, for going from a 3G to 4G device. So I walked into the VZW store and picked up a new HTC Rezound for $169!

But it sits here trying to activate......apparently 4G phones must activate over 4G. :frown:

The girl at the store said my Droid X would stay active until the new phone activates, but it can't make/receive calls, so right now = no phone.

I am sad, and yet happy at the same time.

I'm in a Chicago burb, BTW.

That sounds rough, Murker. The only reason I have not gone suicidal yet is I have a wifi connection. Once I step out for the day I am not sure how I am going to handle this. lol
