Z2 force finally got a screen scratch when dropped on subway

I'm waiting till my z2 stops working then I'll.prob get the z4
I haven't had a phone that has gorilla glass yet as I went from turbo 1 to turbo 2 to z2 so that is my current concern
Just wanted input for when I do have to make a decision thanks guys

The original Turbo was Gorilla Glass. Shattershield started with the Turbo 2, that was the first shatter proof screen.

Just stopped by a Verizon store and tried a z4 . The one touch virtual button is nice similar to the way original physical button works is that unique to Moto or is that an Android 9 thing?

I wasn't able to test the fingerprint screen scanner as phone was in demo mode. The reviews right in the demo page were horrible for the scanner and that the screen breaks easy and that phone quality is bad.

Testing the working one in the store seems like a good phone otherwise. Also could not test the Moto mods to see what the bad fit everyone talks about


How many people on this forum have the Z4 now and would reply with their expierience?

Which is the better phone z4 or g#? Or the Samsung's

Still hanging onto the z2 till it breaks or a good phone comes out and I would get another z2 if they still have new ones. Do they sell them new to have a spare?

Moto doesn't sell them new. But you might find a new-in-box on Swappa. The one button nav is an Android feature, but Mot's implementation is a little different than stock Google. Some say it's better. I have had no issues with my fingerprint scanner....none. Works flawlessly every time for me. But as stated many times....since you seem so focused on the negative reviews you should stay away from a Z4. If you buy one with a negative mindset right from the start....it won't be a good experience. Get a Pixel.

Every phone on the planet with a glass screen will break if dropped. There is not one phone with a glass screen that is shatter proof. But the back is metal only the screen is glass how would a case help you.
I would get az4 when I have to as I committed to Moto mods for the batteries I have four battery mods. I wouldn't get a case with a Moto most phone as you would have to take the case off all the time

My z2 force is peeling from the top left corner. I wonder if that's the shatter shield?
