Zune (WP7) UI on Droid

Maybe its the roms youre using. Mines only set at 800mhz too and it doesnt lag whatsoever. Ill email the dev and see what he has to say

noone else has said anything about it lagging as bad as you say. i have this thread on two forums and its nothing but positive comments.

Yeah I think its smooth as well. I think it just lacks the features that launcher pro has. Also I believe that selecting options takes more of a "push" to actually select. Until you can use widgets within that app, I'm not going to use it all the time. The dev says thats in the making so keep working with it.

yeah, he says hes working on a bunch of new ideas at the moment which should make this a ton better. he says he likes it a lot. not sure how long until we see them.

Looks nice as hell and is running smoothly on my phone. (CM6, 1.2GHz Chevy1 kernel)
But come on! How can this be a home replacement when it only has 1 home screen and no widgets?! Not uninstalling, going to wait for future releases, but this needs A LOT of improvements.

Are you sure you aren't the dev...?

If i was the developer why would i be telling you to goto the app and email that person? It would be a lot easier to just tell you to post your problems here, but, i am not the developer.

As i said in the first post, i am a big fan of the Zune UI. I just wanted to show others the app and it was a great idea as tons of people are liking it. Yes it needs to be worked on more and thats what he said hes doing. So we wait, and we will see how it comes along.

I'm pretty sure he knows whether or not he developed the app lol.

Just wondering why all the shameless plugs and selfless help, hahah.

I like your style, btw. That's my avatar on another avatar. VYCJFTW.

P.S. I bought Zune Home. Haven't run under 700MHz but I usually don't go lower than that unless I'm in the field. So far, smooth. Simple, liking it.

If there was a way to put a big clock on the right side (or something that tells me the time instead of the weather :P) so I don't have to look at the tiny one on the notification bar than this would be an instant 5/5 for me.

Bumping this because it deserves it. :)

Decided to redownload the app tonight and give it another try. Hats off to the dev. Whatever he did fixed the major lag problems I had. Plenty smooth now. I love the ZuneHD UI, and I'm so happy to have it working nicely on my phone. It's like a dream come true.

Looking at the author's site (fadeddivinity.net), it looks like there might be some nice things in the works still. I can't wait to see some updates. :)

Its a very nice home replacement. There hasn't been an update in awhile though. I hope the dev hasn't given up.
