After Oreo, I can't find "Driving Mode?" Any ideas?

That's right where it should be.

It should detect when you are driving and then ask you if you want to hear SMS messages.

I had an issue last week where Driving Mode stopped working one day. I finally found that my Location Settings we're turned Off For All Apps. I don't remember making that change but something did it. As soon as I turned Location back to On Driving Mode started working again. Is your Location On or Off and is Driving Mode enabled in the Moto App?

Thanks. My Location was turned off????
I turned it back on and I think you're right and it should start working again.

It's cooling off below 100° tomorrow so I'll be riding my HD-RK to work, but I'll verify and let you know if that fixes it. Thanks again @Sajo and @Gudasau.

That's very weird that two of us had Location For All Apps turned Off automatically by some random process. Hmmmmm....the mysteries of Oreo 8.0 deepen

Maybe it's an app you're both running, or something. I've got the same phone and didn't have my location turned off.
Maybe a weird little gremlin of some sort. We may never know.

Those sneaky little Gremlins. Maybe we both fed them after midnight? Or was it water after midnight?

There were a couple of my settings that were reset after the Oreo update.

But for me it happened weeks after the update. Odd. I'm sure it will work fine for you again. It has been good to go for me since turning Location back to On.

Just FYI, this might be something to keep an eye on. I started to read my Google News feed this morning and the Google News app alerted me that my Location was set to Off. Sure enough, something turned my Location to Off overnight. If I would not have noticed it this morning Driving Mode would not have kicked in again.

Well my location was on and driving mode did kick in this morning.

I wonder under what circumstances location gets turned off? Low battery? Sleep mode? Do not disturb? I think it's something like that and not a glitch.
