Then you press and hold and it goes to the floating JBs, the candycane is a hint at a future name for the next version of Android possibly.

I was thinking that, but then it would have to be Kandy Kane or something...plus what about key lime pie

There is group messaging built in. I've circled what you need to click to get there.

BTW, LG's built in screenshot software is the ****. love it.

It does allow you send a group message, but when the recipients reply, the reply comes back as a single message from that person and not in the thread. Also, if you receive a group message, it comes as a single message from the sender (not threaded), and doesn't show you the other people in the thread (unless you hold down on the message fro message information).

So you think there will be an oddball number before 5.0 Key Lime Pie that will get a name like maybe "Candy Cane"??

Yes, looking at Android's history there are usually three incremental updates before the next version aside from Honeycomb which was a bit of a flop anyways so Android 4.3 will most likely be called Candy Cane if it ever comes out.

I totally agree on 4.3, but Candy Cane would veer away from their entire name scheme of alphabetical order deserts/treats

I thought that too, even though it seems stretched

That's what's confusing. All though that's not confirmed yet. Just thought to be the most likely

That's another thought I discussed with someone.

So has anyone looked to see if the jb update has opened up some kind of exploit to where we can get a custom rom up and running.

Sorry, no it was just an update to JB not an unlocking of the Bootloader, trust me on that day this forum will light up like News Years Eve. :icon_ lala:
