Just flashed v1.2, wiped data/factory reset, wiped cache partition, and formatted boot and system. Everything is working perfect with zero problems. Apps loaded up fast and it's sweet!! Thanks so much to Meti and Jam!!

no stock kernel....very strange indeed as the first time I installed 1.2 there were no problems...wiped 3 x and reinstalled and restored apps thru miui, and now having the lockup probs. Could be something specific to my phone so don't let this scare you away

also having very slow screen redraws sometimes...around 5 seconds, but this was happening with 1.1 as well and I bet there is a fix I just can't find it

In the past the miui backup has caused problems. I wouldn't use it.

Actually I've used MIUI backup with the last couple of installations and it worked great. When I couldn't use phone in 1.1 reverted to a .7 backup I made of system and apps both and it restored nicely.

Good to know. I've never tried it. Some of the early versions it definitely didn't work.

Error 25

This is the whole reason I decided to get Droid OG. I am stuck when i try to restore I keep getting error 25 does anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

I rooted. Then put the folder in Nandroid. Wiped data, Wiped Cache tried to restore and it won't let me due to the error any ideas?:icon_eek:

Anyone else not seeing Miui Music after install? I have flashed twice and it never installs. The lockscreen music controls work fine, just not the app.

Well if you use astro file manager in the settings you can enable browser dl's of any file type. I dl'd using MIREN browser. That's all the help I have.

If you don't have rom manager it's a must have app makes everything so easy.... as for those with issues try downloading from the pc and put on your sd card then use rom manager to install works flawlessly... thanks guys for all your hard work...

EDIT: One small not really important issue.. The lock screen music controls are defaulting to power amp music not miui music, i can uninstall poweramp but was just curious if there is a way to change what music app it works from?

I'm using sprecovery. I'm having a feeling that clockwork mod is the one i need to be using i'm trying to figure that out right now. I'm a little confused on how to begin but i don't want to just spam tons of help. It is thanksgiving after all

I always use sprecovery.

Shouldn't be a folder, should be renamed update.zip on root of sdcard.
