Didn't mean to tick anyone off, I was just commenting that 2.1 updates are being received overseas.
I was just making an observation that may give us home hopes about our on update Stateside.

Just spoke with a VZW Rep. She told me that the OTA started 3/18 and is being rolled out in stages... and that my droid should receive a prompt at anytime.

Hard to believe that any Verizon rep would actually still be saying that old story. The one I spoke with today had no idea when it would be released, which seemed a little more honest.

I just spoke to a VZW tech support rep and he said the same thing...rollout started 3/18 with about 10,000 users and has continued every other day (another 10,000 users each day) to make sure there are no issues....He said they should start rolling out more at a time later this week. We shall see if this is true or not.

And I have now spoken with 2 (Droid owners) Verizon reps that said the exact opposite that there was no rollout last week and they had no idea when it would occur.

On another site one person who has a friend at Verizon was hinted that there are extra's in the delayed release and one is Flash,,,,we shall see.

I talked to a moto rep yesterday and he told me that the update was still going. But it seems like we cant trust any reps at all.

I would not put any merit on rumors on the roll-out.

There would have been chatter about people receiving it already.
