*228 + 1 will not update his Droid to 2.1. It will reprogram some of CDMA connectivity info, but not the OS.

Yeah, I'm with ya on that.

I am getting a bit aggravated with the constant insinuation, speculation, and hallucination that somehow or another, Flash is going to be included with, in, on, or near the 2.1 update.. It's not going to be... Flash is not made by Moto, or VZW, and has nothing to do with the update.

Just to clarify: Adobe (the makers of Adobe Reader, Photoshop, etc.) makes Flash. When 10.1 becomes available, which is not until later this year, it will probably be a download from the Android Market....

Please, can we stick to the facts. 2.1 is coming it's not here yet. We will get it soon, but not yet.... Motorola has not made any announcements and neither has VZW. Any dates, times, talk of included features, excluded features, or what have you is merely speculation. We have a few people on this forum that are connected. I think when any of our connected members hears something, they will let us know what it is. Right now, Motorola and Verizon are silent on 2.1, and it looks to stay that way for the foreseeable future.

If any Verizon rep says that the update is still on track the way it was described in my original post, they haven't checked their e-mail. I will post an image of the e-mail I'm talking about tomorrow, describing that it has been postponed. Unless the issue is resolved and the rollout actually starts tomorrow, of course...
