Good to hear it's days away and that we get live wallpapers. I guess we'll see if we can get 5 screens when it comes.
By the way - it's been mentioned on this forum about 100 times that Flash won't be out until mid year - possibly July. The more you act disappointed the dumber you sound.
If you'd like go to Adobe website and you can play the video with the CEO saying JULY. It's not speculation.
So funny, all the complaining about not getting 2.1, now it is official in a couple days and now people are coplaining about what they will get in 2.1!!!
It probably had Flash but SOOOOOOOOO many people complained about not having the eye candy "live" wallpapers they took it out to put live wallpapers in!!!! (JK of course and being sarcastic!)
I am NOT rooted and ready for the 2.1 update!
To tell you the truth, my phone stock smokes any other phone I have ever used! I wish I had time to play with all the root stuff but I dont and my Droid works great running stock with GDE!
I'm not sure why people thought that Flash was tied to this upgrade. Flash is a framework/plug-in made by Adobe. It doesn't really have much to do with the operating system version.
am sure I am in the minority here, but I don't give a rats ass about rooting. I just want the most recent update I can get. I feel like I am a "normal" user, one that doesn't care about all the fancy crap that 'rooting' can add to my experience. I just want the latest and greatest that is supported by my carrier. so to that end, I say, bring it on! let's hear it for us "non-nerds"!!!
