My update is available to download but I'm holding off till I get some info on if I should do it.
For those of you that downloaded the update, did it lock up the phone so that you can no longer edit the DUN to get the Free 3G mobile hotspot?
Does it now have Bluetooth internet capability so you can share your internet w/ your computer? If so, is it free or have a cost?

my phone said it had a update i hit update and nothing happend im rooted by the way

The only complaints I've heard from people so far is that the apps they had on their SD Card had to be redownloaded. All the files (e.g. game files) were still saved, you just had to redownload the app.
I've been checking out 2 different sites for this and this is the only complaint I've seen so far.

yea so far i like mine and as far as the apps not all of mine had to be redownloaded but most did, and as far as the 3g hotspot i dont know yet, havent tried but will try and let you guys know, i also use the EasyTether to share the internetz with my laptop

still no update yet here, but at least football is back
I still haven't gotten my Bread yet! But I' hoping for it tomorrow! I'd love to have me some Gingerbread before the weekend! No work or school tomorrow, so I'm hoping to have it in the morning when I wake up.

Do you think they pollugt out depending on how recently you got your phone? I just got mine in January and still have not gotten the update...

No, how long you've had your phone and geography have nothing to do with it. But we still haven't figured out house they do it. Our guess is that it's all random.

I just checked my APPS2SD and all the ones that WERE on the SD card happens to be all the ones I had to re-install. Good catch.
I don't know if this matters, but I did that *#*#checkin#*#* (*#*#2432546#*#*) the day before. Not sure if it was just coincidence, but both my brothers have the incredible and they have had theirs at least 6 months before mine, and they still haven't got the update.

Probably just a coincidence. There doesn't seem to be a way to force the push to certain phones. It's just a matter of waiting until it reaches yours. Shouldn't be long now- seems like the pace is really picking up.
