2.3 Update

i didnt take the battery out i just turned it off and back on again and nothen, then i tried the *228 and pressing 1. nothen, guess ill keep waiting.

Since I downloaded the update, I keep getting a small box appearing that sez "Failed to update my Location-No signal". I have Google & Verizon location settings 'on', just not GPS.

According to all the chatter and Verizon's website they had to push this update to everyone first before they can push the fix for this update which is Build Number: 4.08.605.2 Baseband: 2.15.10.07.07
They list all of the problems people are having as being fixed in the second update. Here is a link to their page

Apparently several of us who decided to wait till this afternoon to install the update cannot now install it for some reason. Possibly Vzn pulled the update again?

They must have. I got the update notification this morning and was waiting til after work, but it was gone by the afternoon and it says my system is up to date.

I got the build 4.06 yesterday and everything was fine, only thing was the hardware showing 4.3 screen but nbd. Just got the 4.08 build, only 8.6 mb and so I install it but it says there's not enough memory to install it and now it disappeared and my market says Sprint and my SD card apps randomly come and go. So weird, nothing was wrong with 4.06.

Same thing just happened to me at 3am this morning, yesterday got the 4.06 which is working fine, asked to download 4.08 build this morning, and after phone rebooted it said it did not install because of low space, nonsense I have plenty of space, now update is gone, hehe.

I received the second update this morning everything went good and it said congratulations you have sucessfully installed 4.08.605.2
Everything appears to be corrected and working as it is supposed too.

I had the same update/low storage thing happen to me. I cleared out enough space. Will it automatically notify me again, or do I have to do it manually?

I'm on the phone with Verizon now. The person I'm talking to is trying to contact HTC. I'll keep you all posted.

As predicted, Verizon wasn't much help. They made me delete more stuff but I still have nasty little phone storage problem. They said they are tracking all of these problems so they want us to call with all the issues. She said I was her fourth call today already about this exact issue. She said to wait at least a day before calling back. In the meantime, no email, and keep my system running without much data. I asked her twice about replacing the phone and she just laughed and pretended to not hear my question both times...

I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to get enough free space... I just deleted practically everything, all my email, all my data, all my (sniff sniff) pictures and videos of my BABY (don't worry, I already put them on my computer) and this stupid thing STILL WON'T GO AWAY. I may go to the Verizon store today and COMPLAIN. Though I wouldn't know what phone to get even if they did offer it to me.
